UK TOP FIVE SINGLES

Shakira hails from Colombia
Shakira has knocked McFly from the top of the UK singles chart with Hips Don't Lie, a collaboration with Wyclef Jean.
The singer jumped from third place to number one whilst McFly dropped down to number six with Don't Stop Me Now.

Rising from last week's 18 to number two was Christina Aguilera with Ain't No Other Man which knocked Rhianna's Unfaithful into three.

Lily Allen stayed at number four with Smile and James Morrison also remained at five with You Give Me Something.

Madonna was a new entry at number seven with Get Together.

The Rogue Traders' - fronted by Neighbour's soap actress Natalie Bassingthwaighte - fell two places from number six to this week's number eight.

Kasabian was another new entry at number nine with Empire and at number 10 was Nelly Furtado who fell three places with Maneater.

In the album chart, Razorlight held on to first position for a second week with their self-titled release while at number two was Snow Patrol with Eyes Open.

They rose four places from last week's position, but Lily Allen dropped one place into third place.
